| About the Author:
Rawle Frederick was born in San Fernando, Trinidad, and raised there before continuing an education at Concordia and Later, McGill University in Montreal, Canada. In 1973, Mr. Frederick and his family, wife and two young sons, travelled to Iringa, Tanzania, where he worked as a teacher of English and African Literature. He returned to the "West" in 1976 and made his home in Bermuda since 1977. He is currently a Lecturer in African and Caribbean Literature at Bermuda College. Rawle Frederick literary awards include a National Prize for fiction in Trinidad as well as James Michener Fellowships in Caribbean Literature at the University of Miami.
